Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Who we are

Qirvondal.com ("Qirvondal", "we", "us") is an independent gaming guide portal. The person responsible for the personal information handled through this site is:

Data Controller: Liam Smith
Country: Australia
Email: [email protected]

This policy is written with reference to the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), as Qirvondal is operated for an Australian audience. Visitors from the European Economic Area are, in addition, entitled to the rights described in Section 6 to the extent those rights apply under EU law.

2. Information we collect

  • Technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and general location, collected automatically when you visit the site.
  • Cookie identifiers, as described in our Cookie Policy.
  • Information you provide directly, such as your name and email address if you contact us through contact.html or email us.
  • If you submit a request on our Passes page: your name, email address, the pass you selected, and any optional notes you add. This is used only to reply to your request and, if you proceed, to arrange your pass by email.

We do not require account creation to read guides on this site, and we do not collect payment or card information anywhere on Qirvondal.com — Passes are requested by form only, with payment arranged separately by email. See our Terms of Service for how this works.

3. How we use this information

  • To operate the site — technical cookies and basic request data are used to serve pages correctly. This does not require your consent.
  • Analytics — with your consent via the cookie banner, we may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand which guides are useful and improve the site.
  • Advertising — with your consent via the cookie banner, advertising partners (such as Google Ads / AdSense) may use cookies to measure ad performance.
  • Replying to you — if you email us or use the contact form, we use your details only to respond to your enquiry.
  • Processing a Pass request — if you submit the form on our Passes page, we use your details only to confirm the request by email and, if you proceed, to arrange your pass.

4. Third-party services

The following categories of third-party services may process data on our behalf when you visit this site:

  • Hosting and content delivery infrastructure.
  • Analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics 4), only after cookie consent is given.
  • Advertising networks (e.g. Google AdSense / Google Ads), only after cookie consent is given.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

5. Data retention

Technical and analytics data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and in line with the default retention settings of the third-party tools used. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping.

6. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you may:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you and request access to it.
  • Ask us to correct personal information that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the cookie banner, or by contacting us.
  • Ask us to delete personal information you have provided directly (such as an email you sent us) — we will action this on request.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe your privacy has been breached.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

7. Children's privacy

Qirvondal is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
